About me

Location	Sioux Center, IA
Introduction	After forty-three years of teaching high school and college English, I have just retired. My wife, Jerelyn, also an English teacher but most recently a professor of Theatre Arts, has also retired. We have three children, two daughters and a son, and four grandchildren, three girls and one boy. I enjoy reading, writing,gardening, fishing, theatre, singing, playing with my grandchildren and traveling. And many other things as well. I have published two books, "The God of Material Things," which is a collection of poems, and "Angling in the English Stream," a collection of short essays on certain English words. Dordt College Press published both books.
