Introduction	My name is Jennifer and my husband, Shawn, and I own a gift shop and hair salon in Historic Hilton Village. I am a painter and a picker. My artwork and antique/gift/jewelry finds are featured inside Primrose. Shawn is creative in his own right, as he approaches hair design as an art form. His studio, Lockworks, is located in the same building. You pass through Primrose to get to Lockworks. We opened our shop in spring 2000. Shawn and I enjoy taking extraordinary care of our customers, from helping them select the perfect accessory or home accent to bringing out their natural beauty and individuality. I started this blog as a kind of "stream of consciousness" to help me focus on what inspires me as an artist and to chronicle my unique experiences as a shopkeeper. Welcome to Primrose!
