Introduction	I've placed this info here so you can work out whether my opinions might align with your own. I am a 45 year old amateur musician/fan of folk, 60s pop and Rock N' Roll. My favorites are Roky Erickson, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper and basically all the artistic crazies from the 60s and 70s. I'm very open to lofi music, recordings that sound half finished. I'm open to listening to singers who'd never get an audition on American Idol. In this sense, my ethos would be 'punk'. I'm also open to liking the bands you're 'not supposed to like'. I'm just as likely to listen to the Monkees as the Beatles, and I actually prefer Donovan over Dylan. Finally, because I so favor the sound of the 60s and early 70s, I'm very tolerant of performers and performances that others would instantly write off as 'bad', simply because the singer has an odd accent, or the sound quality is poor.
