| Introduction | Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon. He was produced in a two-stage process. First iron ore was smelted with coke and limestone in a blast furnace, producing molten iron. In the second stage, impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus were removed and alloying elements such as nickel and chromium were added. Steel was then cast into 6'2, 220 lbs of pure METAL. |
