| Introduction | I am an aspiring mixed media Artist and Designer based in Somerset. My passion is primarily for 'drawing' and largely illustrative based work but I also refresh my pallet with occasional 3D and craft work. In the past I have looked at jewellery making, fashion and a lot of textile prints and I have been told this often shows in my own, more abstract side of my practice. I Graduated from Drawing and Applied Arts (BA Hons) in UWE, Bristol in 2011. It was a very exciting chance to expand my horizons as the campus encouraged us to be very experimental. I love anything with an essence of fusion and like to try as much as possible at least once. The joy of the Arts for me is that there are endless possibilities; I am constantly thinking and dreaming of new ideas and projects, sometimes waking up to quickly sketch out another of my “absolutely must do!” plans, very inconvenient! In this blog I will be sharing quite an array of work, some of which may not be directly related to each other but do ultimately feed my practice. I'm going to get on with it now, so I hope you enjoy what I have to show you! |
