| Introduction | Dr. Quiana Bradshaw specializes in game-based learning, virtual world simulations, and computer science. Dr. Bradshaw has joined Kaplan University in July 2008 and Florida State College in 2016. She received her Doctorate of Computer Science with a concentration in emerging media at Colorado Technical University in September 2013 and was noted making a significant contribution to the field. My current research focuses on how applicable games are to education and how they can help curriculum designers create engaging curriculum for instructional technology. My goal is to create new emerging technologies and expand the STEM learning/distance education environment. I have various research interests in virtual world environments, video game development, games-based learning, educational technologies, and immersive learning environments. My research focuses on the “Learning Game Design Characteristics through the Study of Flow and the Elemental Tetrad in the World of Warcraft & Minecraft.” |
