| Introduction | My name is Carey, and I am a Camp Wife. Camp Wives are a special breed of women who happen to be married to a man who works for a Camping Ministry. We are women who give up our husbands for three months every summer so they can serve the Lord at Camp and provide a place for guests to be challenged by the Lord. There are Camp Wives all around the country serving at all kinds of camps. We are just women trying to follow the Lord and support our husbands as they work God's call on their life. Camp life isn't easy. But it's worth it! Though struggles abound, blessings accumulate beyond measure. I'm just a young camp wife trying to figure out exactly how life is lived to the glory of the Lord and to the growth of our ministry. |
