About me

Introduction	Laura - Since visiting Ecuador 9 years ago, I have fallen in love with South America! I have since had the opportunity to travel with my camera in Central America working with indigenous and marginalized communities. Projects with aims that surround community development and strategies to empower people through art have become central to my work. I have trained as a photographer and both an arts facilitator and a learner support teacher specialising with working with disadvantaged and disabled young people. I have worked on a number of projects with young people that have had a ‘youth led’ approach and a focus on giving young people a voice to express themselves.
