| Introduction | I teach English at Le Grand High School. It is a small (500 student) high school in California's central valley. I have taught 9th grade English for 11 years and Honors and AP Literature for 12th graders for 4. My district has been making an effort to create a 21st Century high school and with that in mind, all of our 9th and 10th grade students received iPads in 2011. At this point in our 1:1 program, all students have iPads. For the 2014-15 school year, we started using the Canvas LMS and I am the technology coach on campus. This blog will (hopefully) follow me through the process of learning to use the iPad in the English classroom. . . |
