| Introduction | Greetings ! My name is Lawrence (Larry) Bell the son of a fallen Police officer. My dad passed away October 18th, 1962. At this time I was five years old and my dad was escourting our present Senator Edward Kennedy's motorcade. He was struck and killed at the intersection of Water St. and Wanoosnock Rd. Petition 161-06 has been passed to place the memorial and Flag Pole at this intersection. And now we need to raise the funds to do so. I am asked constantly why the city has not placed this memorial ? I wish I had an answer? I am reaching out to the community for donations so that we may place a memorial at the location were he lost his life some 45 years ago. This is a tribute long over due and all donations help !
