| Introduction | I am a middle aged married father of two fantastic children (both better and smarter than me) who has worked for a quarter century since graduation from college in 1993. I am an economic development official by day, but my passion lies in reading, thinking, writing and telling anyone who will listen to me about a wide variety of economic, finance, development and class-related topics. First and foremost, I am a dedicated family man. I am Jewish by birth but more culturally than religiously throughout my life. I do not delve into politics but I hate, loathe, detest and despise the current POTUS. I try not to delve too much into politics, since that is not the point of the Money Mensch blog. Nobody really needs the millionth blog about finance, saving and money, but I do offer a different perspective than many of those out there and I allow myself to write about more things than just money, despite the Money Mensch name.
