| Introduction | I am an ex sub-editor on a sabbatical who is trying to find her writing voice. I always knew I wanted to do something related to writing and here I am giving it a try. I am a foodie who loves trying out new places. My fetishes include football and desserts. And when I am not indulging in either of those, you’ll find me wandering in wonderland or reading fantasy fiction. My perfect way to unwind is a walk on the beach with a cup of coffee in hand. My ideas in Bombay, Beatles, Bharatanatyam are inspired from the fact that all three have had a role in shaping the person I am. Like any other kid growing in a South Indian household, I was enrolled in Bharatanatyam class by my mother, who is an expert in the dance form herself. But my world revolved around rock’n’roll and in different kinds of fiction novels. However, I did find a connection with my roots and ended up learning Carnatic music and exploring different kinds of South Indian food.
