| Introduction | I started blogging several years ago. After a hiatus (giving birth, raising my now toddler), I’m ready to share my stories once again. Some high-level stats: I live in Ottawa, Canada, with my boyfriend-with-a-ring and beautiful little girl; I have three pets - a golden retriever, a miniature pinscher and a Himalayan; I work in the communications field and am continuously enrolled in some form of post-secondary education; I love learning new things and seeing new things; I watch the news like an addict; I’m healthy and I love doing things to keep myself that way; I want to live my life in a way that gives my daughter a great role model. While I’ve never taken the power of being online for granted, I have a new appreciation for it. Being a parent, and as many of you know, socializing is can be limited at times. I love my family and friends, and being online has allowed me to keep up with them regardless of my toddler’s mood. I love the water (preferably the ocean); I really like people-watching; I love my morning coffee; Music is great; I take pride in my work; I like seeing and experiencing new things. |
