Also written children's plays seen by 250,000 kids, CDs (received Parents' Choice Recommendation and Parents' Choice Award), and a film (received two Silver Telly Awards). Co-founder and Writer-in-Residence at Stages of Imagination (www.stagesofimagination.org), a nationally recognized, nonprofit entertainment/learning organization. Book reviews published by NEA TODAY (magazine read by 3.2 million teachers) and the INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION. Member of The Authors Guild since 1978. Taught 6th through 12th grade, undergrad and grad courses from 1969 - 2010. Holds Doctor of Education degree from the University of PA Graduate School of Education.
