| Introduction | I married the love of my life. We met in 1963 at the University of California at Davis and we've been on an adventure ever since. Four beautiful children and ten precious grandchildren later, I'm off on another adventure. Overweight and out of shape I begin training for a triathlon in Maryland in August of 2011. The last time I got any exercise was in 2002 when I completed the 220 mile, 3- day bike ride for Focus on the Family - Sacramento to San Francisco. Before that I hadn't been on a bike for over 40 years. Now I haven't been swimming for distance in 50 years. Can you say "Challenge ahead?" Watch and see the miracle which will be unfolding beginning Monday morning 11/1/2010 in the pool. Got my pool pass, cap and bathing suit and dog leash to start walking the dog every day, So here goes everything. |
| Interests | Bible Study, Reading, Scrapbooking. Doll house furniture collecting. Some day I'll actully get a doll house. I won't put biking, running and swimming as interests, buth they will take over my life for the next ten months. |
