| Introduction | I'm a part-time stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) with a ONE MILLION DOLLAR goal. I run a small, part-time consulting business that basically pays for things like daycare and little vacations. We mostly live on my husband's income. It's a decent income, but certainly NOT a six-figure salary. We do NOT have tons of money stashed away in a 401k, nor do we have tons of equity in our home. By my guess-timation, we fall into the ‘average family’ category where money is concerned. I like to think of us as FINANCIAL UNDERDOGS - underdogs who are fired up and poised for ONE MILLION DOLLAR success. If you follow this blog, you will see that over the next 13 years, our family is going to blast out of the month-to-month struggle, stay on top of huge expenses like the $2,000 house painting job, eliminate all our debts (including our $224,000 mortgage), AND...become millionaires.
