| Introduction | What is "Living with Chickens" you ask? I once read this sign in a country craft store that said, "Raising children is like being pecked to death by chickens". If you have children you know that validity of that statement. However, as I navigate through the world I realize we all are these proverbial chickens; hence the name "Living with Chickens". About me: I am a wife, mother of two, and I have a full time job out of the home. I have my kid’s activities: swim, dance, and soccer. And my activities: Girl Scout troop leader, room parent (wait are those mine or are we back to the kids?), dance, and drumming in a highland pipe band. I also have rheumatoid arthritis which in its self is a full time job too. It seems I am with the flock (see what I did there?) and I tend to take on more than I can handle. How do I do it? How do we all do it? With the hope that someone someday will invent a coffee IV. My blog is to talk about myself, because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love to talk about themselves. But more importantly to share my life with you, my interactions with other chickens and their pecking, so that maybe I will help you and get some help in return. |
