| Introduction | Hi my name is Megan and I am a color addict. I have a degree in psychology, a license in massage therapy, and a passion for paint. I like creating things that make other people smile. Things that make me chuckle. Things that brighten a room and brighten a day. I started out painting landscapes in oil when I was 12. I progressed to portraits in acrylic in high school. I took a hiatus in college when I was trying to "find myself". Turns out I was already found way back when I was 12, making a mess of the living room with a brush in my hand and a canvas in front of me. I am more myself when I'm painting than any other time. My work is constantly evolving. My mind works faster than my hand. I'm currently in love with layering, collage, and texture. When I was little I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. I still want to be an artist when I grow up. I am a work in progress. |
