| Introduction | I, Fira Baloghlanova was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. When I was three we moved to Los Angeles. I have written quite a few short poems many of which you can find here in my blog. My inspiration came in the 4th grade when the substitute had made the class write poems. I liked that idea and started making my own. I like writing poems not because they rhyme, but because I let my feelings pour onto the page. Another inspiration was Ms.Ellman (aka Holly Ellman) my 4th and 5th grade teacher. Ms. Ellman taught me that writing is a muscle that you need to exercise every day. |
