| Introduction | I was born in Africa, where I lived in many of its countries. I have spent time in Italy and more time in Britain. Will add stuff later, when I have the time, and know what I want to say. |
| Interests | Catholicism (the Roman-and-true to our Magesterium kind!) reading anything to do with our Faith, listening to EWTN, especially Fr Robert Barron,Fr Robert Spitzer, Raymond Arroyo's news programme, Mother Angelica, The Journey Home, reading GK Chesterton, Hillaire Belloc, good who dunnits, the classics like Austen and Dickens, biographies & autobigographies, Canadian author Michael O'Brien, sugar work books to remind me of the fun I had when I did sugarwork, stitchery, and letter writing even though I am always behind. |
| Favorite movies | The first that come to mind are, the late twentieth century versions of Jane Austen's novels, the first and only the first Rocky film, most films with the Italian comic, Toto, all of the Don Camillo films with Gino Cervi and Fernandel, most of the Miss Marple series starring Joan Hickson, Gunsmoke TV series, The Great Escape, Rainman, all the Italian Rai films about Catholic Saints, documentaries about Nature though I switch off at the killings which are often uneccessarily long and detailed. |
| Favorite music | Operas by Puccini, Bizet,Verdi, Mozart. Most classical music, especially Beethoven & Dvorzac, show-music like Oaklahoma, West Side Story, South Pacific, Annie Get Your Gun etc, Phantom of the Opera, and all A.Lloyd Webber musicals. Prefer listening to men than women with a few exceptions like Edith Piaf, Maria Callas, Victoria de los Angelos. Opera singers especially tenors like Placido Domingo, African singers like Miriam Makeba, show biz singers like Bing Crosby, Jeremy Taylor, Johnny Cash, Elvis; my list is endless. In one word, eclectic. |
| Favorite books | will fill in later, but anything on Catholic history or persons will interest me, also biographies rather than novels especially about East Africa but there are exceptions |
What would you name your ballet inspired by the sight of children leaping through a garden sprinkler?
