| Introduction | Geographic Information Systems consultant and Syracuse, NY native Nate Boyer holds several accredited degrees including: a BS in Speech Communications from Syracuse University's (SU) Sch. of Visual and Performing Arts, a BS in Public Relations from SU's prestigious Newhouse School, a MS in Technology Management from University of Maryland University College with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from University of Phoenix School of Advanced Studies with a dissertation entitled: A Phenomenological Study: How Motivation and Creativity Influence Small Internet Entrepreneurs' Innovations. For over 20 years, Dr. Nate has worked in the aerospace/defense industry formerly serving as a GM/Director at Kodak‘s Commercial Remote Sensing unit, managing earth observation programs, Director of Commercial Remote Sensing at Boeing, and managed government programs for Lockheed's Earth Observation Satellite Co. Dr. Nate's current research interests include motivation, creativity, innovation, transformational leadership, social media, social networking, and Internet entrepreneurship.
