Introduction | I have a background in entrepreneurship, social enterprise development, public relations, and marketing communications. I joined Belay Enterprises (www.belay.org) as Executive Director in June of 1999 and continue to direct the organization. While at Belay, I have overseen the introduction of three new social enterprise businesses: Baby Bud’s, the Good Neighbor Garage and Freedom Cleaning Services. I have also continued to grow Bud's Warehouse, one of the nation’s first home improvement thrift stores and on-the-job training program for individuals rebuilding lives from alcoholism, drug addiction or prison. I enjoy public speaking engagements related to the area of faithventures. Five years prior to Belay, I started Foreword Marketing and Communications which specialized in public relations and marketing for the homebuilding industry. I graduated from the University of California at San Diego with degrees in Economics and Political Science. In addition, I have taken graduate classes in the Denver Seminary MDIV program as well as in the Regis University Masters of Non Profit Management program. |
