| Introduction | Well, I guess I'm a lot of things... I'm a mom,mom-in-law, grandma, I'm a social worker who works too much, I'm a friend to those who will have me, sometimes I'm a loner and always a people watcher. I have a million things that I want to learn before I die and a lot of dreams yet to accomplish. I'm sometimes cynical as hell and at other times wildly optimistic about the human race. I seem to be on some sort of journey but find that time and again I'm not prepared for the rock strewn path that I find myself on. I've recently decided that life is too short to be alone so much so my goal is to meet at least one new person a day and have a conversation with him/her. I'm also going to carry my camera with me everywhere and see what kind of images I can capture. I'll be sure to share them with you all- my many readers... LOL |
| Interests | Reading, writing, flea markets and thrift stores, creating walking sticks, going out to dinner with friends, hanging out at the book store with friends and family,camping,hiking, meditation, drumming and listening to music. I love thunderstorms as long as I can be inside and safe with a cup of tea. I would also love to learn how to be a criminal profiler someday. Learning to quilt and knit are also on my to- do list...I also love to teach. |

| Favorite books | Anything written by Stephen King, new age stuff, self help books, tarot card books, anything on the supernatural or unexplained, all books that deal with mental health issues, the DSM-IV is a favorite. |
