| Introduction | Projects for Under-served Communities is a program at the University of Texas at Austin that gives students the opportunity to select, design, and implement an engineering solution to a problem in an under-served community. We are the PUC Costa Rica team. Our goal is to provide a renewable source of energy in the form of a micro hydro plant to the Sirena Research station, a place deep within the pristine rainforest of Costa Rica.
