| Introduction | Hello everyone! I am a 5th year PhD student in astronomy at a major research university in Canada. Over the years, I have been a TA for many introductory astronomy classes, including a giant (1000+ student) astronomy class for non-science majors. Research wise, I study the progenitors of white dwarf (type Ia) supernovae --- little stars that will one day make very big explosions. I am also interested in outreach activities and talking to non-scientists about how science works. |
