| Introduction | I am a 31-year-old journalism graduate of Eastern Illinois University. I am serving my fourth internship, this one with the Associated Press in Des Moines, Iowa. I am also proud to have gone through the Chips Quinn Scholar program in Tennessee and love being a Chipster. I was editor-in-chief of The Daily Eastern News, Eastern's student publication, in the fall of 2007. The Journey covers my internships and then wherever journalism takes me. For more free-form posting, I will also keep Ramblin' On updated. Both can be accessed through my profile. |
| Interests | Anything that makes fun of reality TV shows, really short walks on the beach, poker, Tetris, learning things I don't know and seeing how quickly I can forget them, the whites of their eyes, coming up empty, sports and the women who love them, Chicago Cubs, Bulls and Dallas Cowboys, AP style (yeah, I copied that one but it's still true), the abolishment of lengthy intro clauses, eye poppers ... they're addicting, oh, and I hear journalism is kind of cool. |
