Introduction	I run a website (www.pictureshowman.com) that focuses on the history of motion pictures from 1890 to 1960. While reflecting on various aspects of motion picture history, and the current state of the movie industry, I suddenly thought it might be interesting to share my musings on a blog. I've decided to present my views, and the views of others, using a comic strip format because I felt it would be more entertaining, amusing, and perhaps, more effective. (The various views expressed by the theater seats – whose official names are '12M' and '12N', but we just call them "M" and "N" – may not necessarily reflect my own.) If you would like to receive an email notification whenever I add a new posting, enter your email address in the field under my blog's banner at the top of the screen. This service is offered by Google and your address will be used only for sending a notification of my new postings. My postings will be a bit sporadic, although I hope to post something every week (except when I take a trip somewhere).
