| Introduction | I'm a high school English teacher with a passion for traveling using my bicycle as my sole means of transportation. For more than a decade, I have traveled thousands of miles up and down the eastern seaboard. I have started this Blog to share my bicycling adventures with anyone who might be interested in either becoming a cyclo-tourist himself (or herself) or simply wants to live vicariously through my travels and see the sights and share in meeting some of the interesting people I meet along my way. If I have learned one thing over the years of bicycle touring, it is that the great majority of people are friendly and courteous to strangers, and I have often benefited from their many kind gestures from allowing me to pitch a tent in their backyards to inviting me to eat dinner with them.
