Introduction	I was born in Cambodia in 1973. A couple years later, Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot gained control of the country. Pol Pot’s ruthless attempt to form a Communist peasant farming society resulted in the deaths of an estimated 2 million people, or 25 percent of the country's population from starvation, overwork and executions. My father and one of my brothers were two of the victims. Through the grace of God, my family escaped Cambodia and eventually immigrated to the United States in 1981. I have two consuming passions in life: 1) the transformation of people through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; and 2) the abolition of the abortion industry. I have been a pro-life advocate for almost 20 years and currently serve as the president of Madison County (KY) Right to Life.
