| Introduction | I'm a thirty-something IT professional disguised as a Logo Turtle. Logo Turtle is a tribute to the first bit of technology that set off my life-long interest in computers and technology: the Logo programming language and its iconic Turtle. I've always been weary about the whole "blog" phenomenon, since it's time-consuming, rife with privacy concerns, and more than a tad bit narcissistic. But, I know that if I don't at least try to keep up with the hip Facebook kids, I'll be left in the dust...kind of like my dad, who's still content with using a typewriter. About the only thing I am current on is nostalgia, since the current retro periods of the 70's and 80's are when I grew up. I also enjoy tech gadgets, movies and TV, video games, and travel. So, now you know what to expect to see in my blog. :) |
