| Introduction | Born in 1947 oct 18th as a second child to Mrs.lalithaSubbaram and Bulusu subbaramaiya of Ponneri. Studied at board High school Ponneri till 1964.since i am a bifurcated student preferred draughtsman course (mechanical) and joined IIT Guindy. But before completion of the course entered through competetive examination to enter Department Of Telephone and Telegraph. As i was in rank 3 and got selected for Telephone Technician Cadre(It was called Telephone Mechanic, and (please dont equate it with current telephone mechanic who are class 4 promotees for Lineman etc. cadre). After stringent training in strowger telephony for one year posted in that cadre. And after that joined AMIE course to get vertical promotion as engineering supervisor which was most powerful post in Telephones.unfortunately that was also disconnected due to some domestic reasons.but through competetive examination got promotion as Auto Exchange Assistant and later on Junior Telecom officer(Engineering Supervisor) and later finally retired as Sr.Sub divisional Engineer in chennai Telephones after working in electronic Exchanges and served as Officer Customer Service. |
