Introduction	39,married. Jack was my first child it took us five years then surprise there was Jack. He was born with Down Syndrome (trisomy 21)and he was my perfect little baby. We couldnt have been happier, in his short life he made our lives rich with his unique and very funny personality. He had AVSD a heart defect which is one of the health defects common (50/50) to "Downs" children. His operation did not go well. He passed at almost 5 months of age after 2 months of complications in the PICU. I started this blog to give and get support and in hopes others would get to know Jack and remember him forever. I would also like more people to become aware of Down Syndrome, how amazing these children are and how much they need our support in research to help all their medical conditions and one day be able to save all their very special lives.
