| Introduction | I am currently retired after a successful career in government and government relations work. I am concerned with how willingly so many Americans seem to line up behind one the two party banners and follow blindly. It is my belief that there are really only two "special interests" in this country . . the democrat party and the republican party. Each has their own collection of friends the other party labels label demeaningly as "special interests". It is my further belief that more and more Americans need to become informed and start thinking beyond the party line. If we can't have a good independent third or fourth party pehaps we can have a little more independent thinking. |
