About me

Location Alta, Norway
Introduction I'm in my forties and live about as far up north as is possible, at 70 degrees north in Alta, Norway. I'm curious about most things and find children's way of looking at and meeting the world both inspiring and fascinating. Having been too sick to work for some years now I've had to find something to do that doesn't demand contact with others on a daily basis. I'm not one to get bored, but in periods when reading etc. just isn't possible card making is superb. I've always been creative, but hopeless when it comes to crafts demanding anything to with my hands, apart from playing instruments and knitting, card making is perfect for me. Now I can create things without feeling like a klutz. I like my cards to be uncluttered and clean, humorous/quirky/elegant rather than cute - cute is fine but doesn't really do anything for me unless there's something more to it - and finally, they have to put a smile on the faces of those who receive them.
Interests Reading, human an civil rights, volunteering, keeping up with what happens "out there", dancing, music, art, movies, hiking, swimming, biking, languages, good conversation about everything and nothing and of course "solving all the problems of the world", photography, theater, traveling and of course paper crafting.
Favorite Movies Big Fish, Whale Rider, Latcho Drom (Safe Journey), La Belle Histoire, - more will come when my brain starts working again
Favorite Music Latin, jazz, 'world', rock, pop, indie, classical, musicals, soul, blues, funk, some hip hop, rap and country. Not big on techno, electronica, death and black metal.
