| Introduction | Jermyn K.Y. Voon is a dynamic, knowledgeable, hard-working, knowledge-hungry learner, persistent political advocate & student leader, passionate about civic engagement & youth involvement. He is also an aspiring, young businessman from Calgary, Alberta. Mr. Voon served as the Commissioner to the VP Student Life / Student Councilor with the Students’ Association of Mount Royal University during 2009-2010 school year. He holds a Diploma in Business Administration (General Business) and is currently working towards his B.B.A in Accounting and Marketing, both from the Bissett School of Business at Mount Royal University. In addition, Mr. Voon is the Co-Founder & has served as the President & VP Operations of the Democracy Club of Mount Royal & is the Director of Fund Development for the Spread the Love Organization & the Regional Director of Calgary & AB Area for the Société Macdonald-Cartier Society. For the past three summers, he has worked with the Government of Canada in the Canada Revenue Agency. He is also the SMCS Representative to Civitas Canada, an Assocate Member to the Society of Management Accountants of Alberta and a member of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. |
