| Introduction | Hi I'm Terence. After being hounded by my mother and my teachers to read finally as an adult I picked up reading for fun. Since I do few things in moderation I read over 150 books in the first 3 years of reading for fun. The honeymoon period hasn't ended so I imagine I'll be an obsessive reader for years. The book that got me reading for fun is actually A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin. After watching the first two seasons of A Game of Thrones I learned they were based on books so I hurried out and got the third book without even considering things might be different in the book versus the show. I got over the differences and read the whole series multiple times. Once I realized waiting for Martin to release a book is like the Starks at the beginning of winter waiting for spring, I branched out using Goodreads for recommendations and my reading obsession was soaring like an eagle. |
| Interests | I'm an avid reader which is apparent because of the blog and my homepage. Something less obvious is I'm a big fan of the NBA. I'm always checking scores and sports news sites. I watch as often as I can. |
| Favorite Movies | This list changes too often to make it too comprehensive. I'm currently enjoying the Marvel MCU my favorites being: Captain America 2: The Winter Solider, Iron Man, Captain America, and The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. I also really like Finding Forrester. |
| Favorite Books | My favorite books in current order. A Storm of Swords, A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, The Warded Man, The Desert Spear, The Daylight War, The Skull Throne, Uprooted, A Dance With Dragons, The Autumn Republic, The Crimson Campaign, and Servant of the Crown. I could go on a while longer, but those are some of my favorites. |
