Introduction	My birthday falls at the end of August. Every year, the kids returned to school and I was gifted some leisure time. For many years now, my husband and I have gone on a birthday hike with our dog Penelope in the Wyoming Wilderness to celebrate the occasion. As the kids moved away, the hiking time was increased and I found my love for quilting. This blog is about enjoying the ride and the journey it took to get there.
