| Introduction | Dale and Patti Coad served for 18 years as the ChildHope Directors for the Caribbean and then for 13 years as the Area Directors. As the Caribbean Area Directors for the Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) Dale and Patti helped coordinate 130 missionaries serving in the 20 countries of the Caribbean and the West Indies. In their travels, they have come across a very receptive people group dispersed across the Caribbean Islands, namely the Spanish Diaspora. These are believers of tremendous courage but often in desperate need. As emigrants to countries outside of their birth-countries and speaking a different language than that of their host country, they are often marginalized. Despite their own needs, they are on fire for God and reaching out to others. This is a grass-root movement of people away from their home churches and homeland but now forming new congregation wherever the Lord of the Harvest plants them. Dale and Patti feel a burden to come alongside them to encourage them and help them in their church planting efforts and in their leadership development. |
