Introduction	I read avidly, I write sporadically, I teach, I play the piano, I sing, I paint. Some of these things I do skilfully, others not so much. I also cook, with more successes than failures. My newest blog is for recording that particular journey, and hopefully organising my recipes and ideas.
Interests	Reading, writing, drawing, my family and friends, craft projects (many UFO's)
Favorite Movies	The Dish. The Castle. These have been my favourites for so many years. Now I can add Napoleon Dynamite. There should be more, but I'm bad at remembering titles. And to be honest, I don't have the commitment to sit through a movie very often. Those two and a half hours could be spent doing something else after all... I will add What we did on our holiday, a funny, quirky movie starring David Tennant, which always meant I was pretty much guaranteed to love it.
Favorite Music	I gave my ipod to Isaac to update my music, and currently it seems to be jammed full of Metallica. I asked for Muse. I like Muse, Green Day, John Butler, Lily Alan, Taylor Swift (shh), Alanis Morriset, Cold Play, Debussy and Beethoven. I also like Angus and Julia Stone, but only when Angus sings, Julia is far too whiny.
Favorite Books	To Kill A Mockingbird, The Kitchen Gods Wife, the Silver City trilogy, the Anne Books, The Book Thief, Tuesdays with Morrie, the Twilight saga (shh again). The TIme Travellers Wife.
