Introduction	Art reflects all stages in a person’s life – the fear, the joy of the first kiss, the heart-break, the accomplishment, the defeat, the rejection, and finally, the acceptance. Fleeing the Vietnam War as a young child, I saw death around me; darkness was my friend. As a survivor of my childhood, I strive to create ARTruism - art + altruism, such as compassion through art. Meaningful art presents the four (4) C’s: Color, Composition, Complexity, and Christ. Art heals the soul (the person) where medicine cannot. Color can reach the spirit where science cannot. Composition can contain the chaos where technology cannot. Complexity of layering explores your creativity where academia cannot. Christ can bring the ultimate peace where the world cannot. My hope is to create ARTruism that provides compassion, peace, love, and joy to your soul, allowing you to sit and be still, appreciating quality time with yourself, knowing that you are worthy, you are beautiful, YOU. ARE. ONE OF A KIND –similar to the art itself.
