| Introduction | Hello, welcome! I am a self taught Folk Art Artist. I design and create whimsical creatures in various clay and mixtures. I usually use air dry clay and papier mache. I create for all holidays but Halloween and Christmas are my favorites. I have been creating as long as I can remember. I grew up with two brothers but needed a creative outlet for a girl. I started making dolls from sticks, seed pods,etc. whatever was available. after learning to sew, I made cloth dolls for many years. After retirement from the corporate world in 2002, I discovered the various clay's. I think I found my calling. I sell at art shows and just opened an online Etsy Shop. I do well at shows but just have to wait and see with selling online. I hope you enjoy my critters and creations. Jean |
