| Introduction | My name is Veronica Parisi. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication & Rhetoric and English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh. I am currently the Department Head of Speech-Language Pathology at a facility in the Pittsburgh area that specializes in adult transitional care and skilled nursing care. As a graduate student clinician, I completed pediatric internships at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Public Schools (one placement kindergarten through high school; one placement in the early childhood education program) and the Children's Institute. This blog is designed to help increase carryover of pediatric speech and language skills in the real world setting, particularly for those in the Pittsburgh area.
