| Introduction | I started painting about 15 years ago while living in Paris where I took some painting lessons and joined a group of painters. This ignited my long time passion for art that, which up to that time, I never had the opportunity to pursue being totally preoccupied with my career and raising a family. I am mostly self-taught and keep on learning from trial and error, as I continue to experiment with styles and media. My favorite school of art is "Les Fauves", where color and shapes defined the painting. I was born and grew up in France with strong family ties to Italy which may explain my attraction to the landscape scenery of my childhood and Italy. New discoveries during travels are a great source of inspiration and renewal. |
