| Introduction | in my fifties. opened a yoga studio in april 2007. it's a lot of work; a lot more fun. we're doing well so come visit us. got an mfa in creative writing back in the nineties. tried to be a writer but don't want to be that smart. plus, writing takes discipline, a trait that often eludes me. i have been with my life partner since 1979! we live a large house surrounded by trees and have an amazing view as well as great neighbors. we have 3 cats, mimi, a tuxedo rescue cat who likes to express herself--either by pissing on my stuff, or a)loudly requesting love, or b) loudly asking for water from the faucet. cat 2 is fidelio, a cream tabby who is goofy, photogenic and sweet unless he's picking on mimi. the last kitty is soushong aka shu shu. all black, tamed feral. quite affectionate; drools well. 1 dog, a bichon frise named toulouse. lots of friends; much frivolity.i am round of size and generous of heart. i laugh a lot and i'm funny. born in alabama, raised in san diego, spent time in san francisco during the seventies and eighties. |

plucking the string and yodeling as loudly as possible so no one will notice that i'm tone deaf. after a few minutes of that, i would start to tell a story and weave that into another story becoming as mesmerizing as scheherazade.
