| Introduction | my name is Daina....which means a sort of poem or ancient folk song in verse form....which - although i didn't know the meaning of this until a few years ago it must have had some unknown influence on my life because that's really who i am and how i communicate at the deepest level my real self and my real feelings...spontaneously - in poetic form....in a language that either you understand or you don't.....i am fairly shy and quiet and due to circumstances have spent much of my life alone and find it easier to write than to talk....i'm a strong believer in non-verbal communication....i probably drive everyone mad on social networking sites with my version of poetry and spontaneous lyrical verse style of writing...i feel people will know the real me better by reading my written thoughts.....i am half Latvian - part Irish and part something else...i'd describe myself as liminal...not really belonging anywhere but wandering everywhere - free-spirited - non-conformist |
