Introduction	I am a multiracial early Gen X-er; a progrssive feminst/womanst, mother of one preschoolr; RN by trade, and history aficionada by avocation. I’m a person who has lived with major and postpartum depression, and am a huge NPR jnkie. Seriously. Spiritually speaking, I grew up in a househld headed by hardcore liberal, partisan Protestants, but mself have a greater affinity for Unitarian Universalism and Buddhist perspectives/practice. Some interests; women’s/social history, ethnic studies, the arts (as broadly defined as one can imagine), food, community building, education, sustainable development, social justice, progressive politics, colonialism, spiritual wholeness, wellness/healthy living, complementary and natural medicine, public and mental health, DIY, relational and ecological responsibility, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, bicycling, travel, yoga, music, dance, tai chi, poetry, gardening, xeriscaping. At this point in my life I spend far more time thinkng, reading & daydreaming about these interests than actlly pursuing them. The tension between the thinking and the doing plays a major role in my inner life. It is a tension with which I am only beginning to make my peace. Blessings!
