| Introduction | I was raised in central pennsylvania in an area known to have been settled by pennsylvania dutch. (Deutschland) The head of the family was our matriarch, my Grandmother. She was a wonderful woman who was a fantastic cook. My grandmother passed away in 2004 and I bequeathed her cookbooks. I cook to get closer to her and feel a part of her remains with me thru cooking. When I feel lonely the food gives me comfort. I want to share these recipes with others who enjoy the comfort of country cooking. I will also be sharing other recipes that I have tested. |
