| Introduction | I live a small, rural community it the heart of Western New York State with my 17 year old son, my sister, her 3 year old daughter, and three cats. I also have a 20 year old son studying music education in college. I stopped working for the corporate world, involuntarily, last August. I've been supporting myself by doing some contractual work for a couple of area non-profits, including graphic design and some administrative work, since then. I am also an artist who does collage and acrylic painting and hand-made jewelry. I've recently decided to focus solely on being self-employed and paying more attention to nurturing my art. |

| Favorite movies | There are so many. I love Woody Allen movies. I love some documentaries, esp. on artists, like Art21 or Exit Through the Gift Shop. Anything edgy, funny, and with a good story and strong characters. REcently, I watched and enjoyed the Hunger Games, Midnight in Paris, Bridesmaids, Hugo, among others. |
| Favorite music | I have no particular favorite genre. My best musical experiences are live, especially listening to my sons play piano. |
| Favorite books | I'm usually reading about art, looking through books or magazines on beading, or reading articles about particular issues I'm concerned about or interested in on-line. |
