| Introduction | I've been making our Christmas/holiday cards since I got my first color printer (1995.) For many years, I also made all of our greeting cards - birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, etc. But they were made entirely on my computer with software tools/applications like Create-A-Card (both Hallmark & American Greetings version) & similar software. Since May 2012, I've gotten into paper crafting meaning I use die cuts & embellishments in addition to computer printed things to make my cards. Since 1976, my day job has been programming computers. But I'm very fortunate that my employer has allowed me to "telecommute" (translate: work from home) since 1996. It's fascinating to me that with today's technology, I'm able to work on computers that are miles or thousands of miles away from me while sitting in my pajamas in my home! So in a nutshell, I'm not new to making my own greeting cards. But I'm fairly new to the paper crafting aspect of card making and enjoying learning about other paper crafting projects such as making my own gift boxes. I called this blog "Never Too Old" because I think you're never too old to learn new things. But it just may be a little bit harder. ;-) |
| Interests | Computer technology, paper crafting, cooking, dogs, reading, music. I tend to be OC, so when I get into a project/new interest, I do it all out. Rather drives my husband crazy. |
