Introduction	In early 2011, Harry Zubkoff started a blog, "Readings & Writings." His blogging slowed down later that year as his vision declined. In May 2015, on the first anniversary of Harry’s death, daughter Elaine revived his blog to share essays, musings, historical notes, and excerpts from stories, novels, and poems, all mined from his computer and voluminous paper files. These writings typify Harry's passions and character and offer still-useful advice! No doubt Harry lived to nearly 93 because he never stopped writing, whistling, rhyming, learning, telling jokes, and engaging with as many people as possible.
